There is a version of the oversized tee that looks great on the hanger and collapses in the wash. It is almost always a fabric problem: too light, too loosely knit, and cut to look boxy rather than built to stay boxy. The Mervaqoe™ Oversized Graphic Print Tee starts at 240 gsm, which is the weight where a tee stops being a layer and becomes a piece. It hangs with intention, it does not cling, and it does not go sheer under bright light — three things you cannot fix with styling.
The cut is genuinely oversized rather than simply sized up. Shoulders are dropped so the seam sits off the edge of the shoulder, the body is cut straight through the waist instead of tapering, and the sleeves are wide enough to sit on the upper arm rather than squeezing it. That combination is what produces the relaxed silhouette people are actually after when they search for an oversized tee, and it is why this one reads as deliberate rather than borrowed. It works tucked, French-tucked, knotted at the waist, or worn straight over leggings.
The graphic is screen-printed with a soft-hand ink, which is the difference between a print that becomes part of the shirt and a print that sits on top of it as a stiff rectangle.
