The neckline is the usual failure point on a wrap dress. Cut too shallow and it opens when you sit down; cut too deep and you spend the evening arranging it. This one is a true crossover with enough overlap through the bodice that it stays closed through a normal range of movement, plus a discreet inner snap if you want the extra security. The V itself is cut to a depth that flatters without requiring a camisole underneath.

The fabric is a fluid crepe, chosen over anything stiffer for both drape and practicality.
